Bill Rizek, loving son of the late Martin George Rizek and Antonia (Hejtmenek) Rizek; brother of the late Joanne Antonia (Rizek) Kocher and Richard Martin Rizek; dear uncle of Keith Kocher, the late Karl Kocher, Kevin Kocher, Craig Kocher, Caroline (Kocher) Kelly and Kathy (Kocher) Puder. 

Bill was an Army Veteran who served as specialist forth class (Corporal) in Viet Nam at Camp Chu Lai Viet Nam as METR Helicopter Mechanic of the USARPAC. He was an avid bicyclist and member of the Evanston Bike Club. In life he worked as an architect for various major corporations in Chicago (Standard Oil Company, Revcor, etc.). In later years he earned a CAD/CAM Engineering degree. Bill's generosity will be remembered by his philanthropy of many organizations including The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA), Chicago Science and Industry Museum, Adler Planetarium, Salvation Army, Columbia College Chicago, many area zoos, animal rescues and nature causes.
