William Ernest Meyer (Bill Sr.) loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30th, 2025.

Bill was born to Ernest and Dorothy Jean Meyer on June 16th, 1953, in Arlington Heights, IL.

He graduated from Maine West High School, and earned his C.P.A. at Loyola University. He married Kim in 1975. They went on to raise 3 beautiful children, and owned and managed several successful businesses throughout the Chicagoland area. Bill loved the outdoors, traveling, boating and biking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald.  Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Kim, along with his children, Julie and partner, Tim, Billy Jr., Jenny and husband Dave, and six grandchildren, Matthias, Nathan, Caleb, Adrianna, Brayden, and Caralynn, all of whom he loved dearly and enjoyed spending his time with. He is also survived by his sister Donna and husband, Steve, and their son, Kenny.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave. Chicago, IL 60656. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
