Vernon M. Castle, Age 74 Died peacefully at home April 13, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of 52 years to Patricia, nee Stein. Cherished father of Daniel (Donna), Ronald, Judith (Louis) Papaeliou, Leslie (Daniel) Lopez and the late Craig. Fond brother of Elroy, Alvin, Delores, Iris and Ronald. Proud grandfather and "Papa" of Danny, Jason, Jeffrey, Kate, Kelley, Carl, Sara, Melanie, Chad, Matt, Alex, Emily, Lia, Ethan and Cole. Dear brother-in-law of Sally Stein. Family and friends will meet at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL Wednesday 11:30am for military honors and interment. Visitation Tuesday, 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave. Chicago.
