Obituary

Our loving mother Shirley L Dudzinski passed away March 21, 2023, at Resurrection Life Center in Chicago IL, at the age of 88.
Shirley was born on November 17, 1934, to Stanley and Alice Dziurgot in Chicago, Illinois. She married her beloved husband Raymond on August 15,1964 and was blessed with their three children raising them in Chicago. Shirley loved her heritage and took pride in being a part of many Polish Organizations within the area. Shirley was a habitual volunteer giving countless hours to the organizations, she cared about from Bluebirds to the State Assemble. Shirley had the honor of servicing on may boards and organizations such as Legion of Young Polish Women, Polish Women's Civic Club, Polish Arts, Copernicus Foundation Executive Board Member serving as secretary, Wisla (1977-1990), Zalipie (1986-1989). National Director of PRCUA, Polish Roman Catholic of America National Director Dist. 7 1977 - 1990, PRCUA Wisla Dancers School Director, 1986 School Director of DALIPIE, Member Ladies Auxiliary of the Polish Museum of America Member United Councils of the PRCUA member, Adult Culture Group of the PRCUA, and Chaired and Co-Chaired Cinderella Prince Charming Ball. Shirley could always be found getting ready for an event or meeting, putting
everyone else's needs above hers. She was a wonderful women.

Shirley is survived by her three children Kathy (Joe) Salemi of Chicago, Paul (Mary) Dudzinski of Chicago and Larry (Paris) Dudzinski of Elroy, WI; her brother Donald (Carol) Dziurgot; her cousins Marion (Corinne) Gawlik and Bernadette Gawlik; five grandchildren Maureen, Joe, Michael, Izabelle, and Haily. As well as her closest friends Henry and Mary Ansalmo and Alexsandra Zalupski. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Raymond.

Visitation, Sunday March 26, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Prayers, Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:45 a.m. at Kolbus - John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago, IL to St. Constance Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
