Sharon Wolanik, nee Wayer, Passed away, Saturday, October 25, 2025, age 77; beloved mother of Kenneth and the late Richard Wolanik; loving grandmother of Jack Henderson; dearest sister of Arleen (the late John) Noel, Ronald (Gloria) Wayer, Jerome (Pamela) Wayer and Pamela (Michael) Hoffelt; dear cousin of Donna Racila and many others; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Sharon was a longtime employee for the Village of Schaumburg and a die-hard Cubs and Bears fan.  She was loved and will be missed by all.  Visitation, Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago from 9 a.m. until Funeral Prayers begin at 12 p.m. Procession to St. Monica Catholic Church, Mass 12:30 p.m. Interment Private.
