Sandra Mae Nolin
December 4, 1934 – December 3, 2024
Sandra Mae Nolin, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, Gigi, cousin and friend,
passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, just one day shy of her 90th birthday.
Sandra was a devoted and loving wife to Robert Nolin, with whom she shared 52
remarkable years of marriage, built on a foundation of deep love, partnership, and
commitment. She was the beloved daughter of Alice and Charles and cherished sister
to Chuck and Gerry, all of whom preceded her in death. Sandra was also a loving sister-
in-law to Gwen and Carol.
A devoted and loving mother, to Jackie, June (Bill), Johnny, and Jimmy (Robin). Her
love extended deeply to her grandchildren: Kim (Mike), Amy (Grant), Dawn (Brian),
Kristy (Danny), Matt (Sara), Michael (Kristie), Krista (Bob), Sean (MaryMargaret),
Jeffrey (Dani), and Sam. Known fondly as Gigi, Sandra adored her great-grandchildren:
Sadie, Brooke, Aria, Owen, Allie, Dylan, Bryant, Cole, Harper, Kendall, Ben, Luca,
Wyatt, Carter, and LaineyGrace.
Sandra had a gift for making everyone feel special. She was known for her unwavering
love, her selflessness, and her quick wit that brought smiles to every room. She adored
adventure, whether exploring a new place or simply creating cherished memories with
family. Sandra's passion for shopping, chocolate, coffee, and a good glass of wine
became the hallmark of many shared moments filled with laughter and love.
Her family and friends will forever carry the lessons she taught through her kindness,
generosity, and boundless heart. Sandra was a true matriarch, and her legacy will
continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed by
all.
Sandra's celebration of life will be a time for her loved ones to gather, honor her
remarkable legacy, and remember a woman who gave her all to those she
loved—forever reminding us that grace truly is amazing.

Mrs. Nolin will be lying is state on Saturday, December 7, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Monica Church, 5136 N. Nottingham, Chicago. Interment Private. 773-774-3232.
