Ricardo G. Dy, D.D.S, born April 12, 1933, passed away June 17, 2013; beloved husband of Virginia C.; loving father of Jason, M.D. (Delia) and Edmund, M.D.; dear grandfather of Andrea (John) McMillian, Alexandria (Eugentri) Taylor, Madeleine and Michael; great-grandfather of John W. III, Joshua and Jacob McMillian. Ricardo practiced dentistry in the Philippines. In 1965 he married Virginia, and they soon immigrated to the United States in 1970. With his dental background, he worked for a dental lab producing dentures while attending night school at Loyola University to complete his dental certification. Ricardo went on to open his own practice on Irving Park at which he practiced for 40 years. Memorial visitation, Friday, June 21st at Kolbus-May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago.
