Renee entered Eternal Life peacefully while at home.

Renee received her education at Immaculate Conception from Kindergarten through High School.  She went on to Loretto Heights College in Denver, Colorado where she received her Degree in Education.  Upon graduating she began teaching in Elmhurst School District and EDSED (East DuPage Special Education District) where she excelled as a Special Education teacher until her retirement. Due to her caring and diligence she developed a close rapport with her students which remained all her life.

Renee truly enjoyed and relished life: celebrating her Irish heritage throughout the year, but especially on St. Patrick's Day when she participated in both the Chicago (since 1954) and Elmhurst parades, enjoying holidays, vacations with family and spending fun times with her treasured "GNO" friends, trips to Notre Dame, and of course, relaxing at her Michigan get away.

Renee is survived by her loving husband, Doug, devoted son Brad and his wife, Jeanette. Beloved brother, Ed (Betsy Branand) Moran, Jr., dear sister, Marcia Velon, Sister-In-Law, Marianne (Al) Yeoman, cherished nieces Aimee (Joe) Ursitti, Melissa (Matt) Rose, Nicole (Janell) Berry and Christine (Jordan) Yeoman-Payne, and other adored family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents Arlene (Bransley-O'Keefe) Moran, James O'Keefe Jr., and Ed Moran Sr.

Renee will be remembered for her kindness, caring, twinkling eyes, love of dogs, infectious smile, deep faith, her loyalty, and friendship.

Renee will be deeply missed by all.
