Orma H. Coutré, nee Vogrig; 94; Beloved wife of the late James J.; devoted mother of the late Aileen (Donald) Petersen, James E. (Jane) and Leonard J.; loving grandmother of David (Gail) Petersen, Daniel (Susan) Petersen, Douglas (Penelope) Petersen, Dennis (Veronica) Petersen, Damien (Katie)Petersen, Cheryl (Steve) Kellond, Jim (Carrie) Coutre and Anne Coutre; great-grandmother of Chase, Blake, Simon, Lucas, Michael, Lauren, Jeremy, Zachary, Tiffany, Matthew, Logan, Alice, Lilian, Corey, Ben, Grant, Anna, Olivia and Porter; great-great grandmother of Elizabeth and Cameron. Preceded in death by her siblings Louise Willoughby, Peter Vogrig and Eleanor Randall; dear aunt and friend to many.
Orma was devoted to her family, frequently expressing her love through food and handcrafts. Holidays were made more special with her hobonsa, egg noodles, plum dumplings or many desserts. She enjoyed cards with her family and played a mean hand of SkipBo. Orma was also an active member and officer of the Seniors Club at St Monica's Parish. Funeral, Thursday, 9:15 a.m. from Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago to St. Monica Church for Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
