Nina Barton, beloved mother of Greg (Karen) Barton; cherished grandmother of Brent, Erin (Michael) Yates, Dea, and Kiera Barton; dear sister of the late Sophie (the late Joe) Krawchuk and the late Anne (the late Alex) Soby; devoted aunt of Linda (the late Mike) Sabie and the late Jim Krawchuk.

A lifelong resident of Chicago, Nina was a former professional Russian dancer whose grace and passion for dance remained with her throughout her life. She was a devoted grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Nina will also be fondly remembered for her exceptional baking, especially her famous chocolate chip cookies, which brought joy to family and friends for generations.

Private funeral services were held, followed by interment at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, Illinois.
