Mary Lucille Forte "Mary Lu", 82, devoted daughter of the late Fred and late Congetta Forte, loving sister of Anthony (Denise) Forte and Nicholas (Lucy) Forte, doting aunt of four nieces and one nephew, treasured great-aunt to many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Mary Lu passed away after a brief illness on August, 5, 2025. Mary Lu was a lifetime Chicagoan who had a long career at Protection Mutual Insurance Company in Park Ridge. In her free time, she would enjoy needlepoint and reading some of the great classics in English Literature. But some of the best memories family members have are of Mary Lu's cooking and baking meals for family gatherings.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, 5136 N. Nottingham Ave., Chicago, IL 60656,

Interment will be private at Queen of Heaven.
