John M. Wachowicz, 88, loving husband of Roberta; beloved father of Marie (Scott) Harden, Patricia (Peter Armato) Kelly, and John (Lisa Bialka) Wachowicz; cherished grandpa of William Harden, Kaitlyn (Laramie) Immel, Thomas Harden, and Samantha Kelly; uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews; companion and mentor of many; and friend of Bill W.

John worked at The Drake Hotel for 10 years as the credit manager and retired after 38 years from United Airlines. He was also involved in the Knights of Columbus in his formidable years. John was a dog lover, Fannie Mae fanatic, and Portillo's devotee. He will be missed by family, friends, and mentees.
