John A. Schaffner of Chicago, Illinois, age 87, has passed away February 27, 2015 under the loving care of his family. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia nee Plescher; one niece Gianna Plescher and one nephew Jonathan Plescher; a sister-in-law Gloria Niemiec and a brother-in-law Paul Plescher. He is preceded in passing by his brother Harold Schaffner and sister Florence Schaffner. Memorial Visitation Saturday, March 7 from 1 to 4 p.m., Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at Kolbus- John V.
