John Joseph O'Malley, age 79, died peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2009 after a heroic battle with
colon cancer; beloved husband of 47 years to Geraldine, nee Cisowski; devoted father of Ruth (Scott)
Lawlor and Susan O'Malley; proud and loving grandfather of Kelsey and John Lawlor; fond uncle and
great-uncle of many nieces and nephews; dear brother of George (Janet), Joseph and the late William
(Mary); preceded in death by his parents and beloved mother-in-law Lucille Cisowski. Retired member
of the I.U.E.C Local 2. Until his illness he was an active member of the St. Cornelius Choir, The Holy
Name Society and a food pantry volunteer. Funeral Tuesday, 9:45 a.m. from Kolbus-John V. May Funeral
