Joanne Dorband-Platis, 79, loving wife of the late George Platis; cherished mother of Christopher (the late Barbara) Dorband and Patrick (Mitzi) Dorband; beloved grandma of Taylor, Kayla, Christopher, and Vanessa; beloved great-grandmother of Anthony; devoted sister of the late Eileen (Donald) Groh, Barbara (Dennis) Kampbell, Louella Ellerbee, and Bonnie (David) L'Argent; loving cousin of Diane Kern and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, January 31st from 9:30 a.m. until time of service 12:00 p.m. at Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago, IL. Interment to follow at Acacia Park Cemetery.
