Janis Kay Gooday

Janis Kay Gooday, 67, loving wife of Robert for 26 years; devoted mother of the late Aubrey (Daniel Borst) Rauch; treasured grandma of Ariana McMahon, Ella Borst, and Raya Borst; cherished sister of Charles (Jenny) Bezold and the late Barry Bezold; aunt of many loving nieces and nephews; and cherished choral and congregational member of two churches in the Jefferson Park area.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 starting at 1:00 p.m. at Congregational Church of Jefferson Park UCC at 5320 W. Giddings St., Chicago, IL 60630.

Interment will be private, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Janis’s name to Congregational Church of Jefferson Park UCC.
