Janice Carol Fanke, age 73, of Eddyville, KY, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

She was a retired Registered Nurse and member of Eddyville United Methodist Church in Eddyville, KY.

She is survived by her husband, Vern Fanke of Eddyville, KY; one daughter, Michelle Schroeder of Chicago, IL; one son, Mike Fanke of Ashville, NC; her mother, Elsie Ludwig Brusick of Tampa, FL; one sister, Nancy Schild of Tampa, FL; one brother, Bill Brusick of Houston, TX; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Brusick.

Celebration of life service will be at noon on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Eddyville United Methodist Church in Eddyville, KY, officiated by Rev. Jack Larwa.

Burial will be at Union Ridge Cemetery, 6700 W. Higgins Avenue in Chicago, IL on Monday, July 25, 2016, 1 p.m.

Lakeland Funeral Home of Eddyville is in charge of Kentucky arrangements. Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home of Chicago is in charge of Illinois arrangements.
