Helen M. Stark, nee Smigiel, At rest Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the age of 105. Born on March 28, 1912 in Chicago to the late Frank and Bernice Smigiel. On August 14, 1937, Helen married the love of her life Edward Stark at All Saints Cathedral Polish National Catholic Church. Edward preceded her in death on October 8, 1995. Helen is survived by her son, Richard (Sylvia) Stark and daughter, Theresa (the late Roger Sr.) Heath; four grandchildren, Roger Jr. (Sharon) Heath, Timothy (Dawn) Heath, Edward (Barbara) Heath and Jeannine Stark; Seven great-grandchildren Andrea, Michael, Joseph, Ryan, Andrew, Sean and Jonathan Heath. Helen was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Katherine, Marcella, Lillian, Joseph and Walter. Helen loved her Church and worked very hard to support the Church. Helen was the Secretary of Branch 37 of the Polish National Union of America for nearly 50 years and sold many, many insurance policies.
