George J. Puchmelter, age 91; WWII Navy Veteran; beloved husband of Dorothy, nee Wojciechowski; loving father of Charlene (Kenneth) Kuhnlohe, Suzanne (Jeff) Johnston and George N. (Alisa) Puchmelter; cherished grandpa of Dawn (Christopher) Mulvihill, Natalie (Michael) Czarnecki, Brittany Puchmelter and Michael Velinske; great-grandpa of Aliya Kuhnlohe, Drew Mulvihill and Sadee Czarnecki. Visitation Wednesday 4 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday 10:00 a.m. at Kolbus-May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago. Entombment All Saints Cemetery. For information 773-774-3232
