George E. Morse, age 92, of Chicago, passed away December 6, 2012. WWII war Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (nee Reilly); dear father of Barbara (William) McKenzie, Bonnie (James) Shatkus, Joseph Patrick (Diane) and Donna (Thomas) Kelly; cherished grandfather of James, Kathleen, Jamie and Michael and great-grandfather of Colin and McKenzie. Retired Ward Superintendent for the City of Chicago and former Supervisor of Clarendon Park in the Chicago Park District. He played professional basketball for the Sheboygan Redskins and the Chicago Bruins. Member of the 16 inch Softball Hall of Fame. Funeral Service Tuesday, December 11, 11:00 a.m. at Kolbus-John V.
