Gail A. Olson, 61, Passed away Sept. 6, 2008. Gail attended York High School in Elmhurst,
graduated from Valporaiso University, and then earned her M.S. in Library Science from the
University of Maryland. Gail served as a children's librarian for a number of years in Sullivans Island,
SC and Schiller Park, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Loretta Olson; her
brother, Robert, and two infant sisters. She is survived by her nephew Daniel (Laura) Olson of Sicily,
step-mother Elsa Olson, step-brothers John (Elizabeth), Chuck, Neil (Michelle) and Dean (Lynn)
Sorensen; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Gail will be remembered fondly by many close friends,
especially Pat and Will Anderson, Sue Boland and her church family. Lying in State Friday, September
12, 2008, at Acacia Lutheran Church, 4307 N. Oriole, Norridge, IL 60706 9:30 a.m. until time of
funeral service 10:30 a.m. Interment Private at Elm Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Acacia
