Frances Russmann "Fran" 94, loving wife of the late Herman; devoted mother of Wayne (Susan) Russmann, Karla (Tom) O'Malley, and Michelle (Wayne) Jarosz; cherished grandmother of Marissa (Joseph) Krzyzewski, Ryan (Lauren) Russmann, Jason Jarosz, Timothy (Nina) Jarosz; and beloved great-grandmother of Lila Jarosz, Brady Jarosz, Ronan Jarosz, and Griffin Jarosz.

Fran was a woman whose life was filled with love and joy. From her diligence and attention she gave to her patients as a registered nurse to her treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren – she was a woman who took care of everyone else. In her earlier years she was quite the athlete, spending time playing tennis, volleyball, and in the 1940s part of an all Womens' Baseball team in the Midwest. After the passing of her loving husband Herman, Fran spent more of her days antiquing, reading, and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

Visitation, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Kolbus – John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago, IL 60656. Chapel service to begin at 12 p.m.
