Elizabeth "Liz" M. Leavy, 61, loving wife of 36 years of Greg Leavy; cherished sister of Patrick Wade; loving daughter of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Wade and the late Patrick "Kevin" Wade; and devoted pet parent of Cheddar.

Liz taught grades Kindergarten through 8 ^th grade in Chicago, but found that teaching the 3 ^rd grade special needs class in the Park Ridge system was her absolute favorite. She had a kind and patient heart; she will be missed by many.

Visitation, Friday 4 – 9 p.m Prayers, Saturday 9:15 a.m. from Kolbus May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave., to St. Monica Catholic Church for 10 a.m. mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
