Edward "Eddie" Eric Wietrecki

On Thursday, July 22, 2021, Eddie Wietrecki, father, boyfriend and brother, passed away from injuries sustained in a bicycling accident, he was 47.  In keeping with Eddie's loving and generous spirit, he gave the most precious gift anyone could give; the gift to save the lives of his fellow man.

Eddie will be lovingly remembered by his son, Eddie, Jr. "EJ", longtime girlfriend, Barbara, and brother Stephen (Kimberly) of Massachusetts and Maine.  He was predeceased by his son, Jonathan, father, Felix and mother, Virginia.  Eddie will also be forever remembered by his extended family and dear friends.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 7 at 10 a.m. at Kolbus-May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago.  A  prayer service will be celebrated in memory of Eddie at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will follow at the family plot at All Saints Cathedral Parish PNCC .
