Edward G. Thalhammer, age 69, passed away October 28, 2021.  He was born November 25, 1951 in Oak Park to the late Edward Thalhammer and the late Marcella Kneis. Proud decorated Vietnam veteran; beloved husband to Irene; loving father to David, Kimberly (Mike), Dawn (Craigory), Tara, Brian, Paige (Dmitri) and Matthew; cherished grandfather to Daniel, Tyler, Bryanna, Madison, Javon, Carly, Junior, Carter; and dear brother to Joseph, James, the late William, the late John and the late Edward Jr.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. on Monday, November 8 ^th at Kolbus May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago.  Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 9 ^th at the funeral home.  Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
