Edward J. Ragan, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on March 18, 2008. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, November 17, 1928. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was preceeded in death by his father and mother, the late Andrew and Pauline, nee Helpa; loving brother of the late John(Margaret) and Frank(Lorraine); dear uncle to Mary(James) Kerrigan, George(the late Jessica) Ragan and James(Jannine) Ragan; friend of many years to Sylvester Richard Folaron; four great-nieces, one great-nephew and many cousins and friends. Visitation Monday March 24, 4 to 9 p.m. at Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago. Prayers, Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to Immaculate Conception Church for Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL.
