Douglas A. Lewis, age 58, of Chicago, IL. Passed away February 19, 2018, under the loving care of his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl; loving children Lisa (Larry) Aikin, Jessica Lewis and Joshua Lewis; cherished grandfather of Cailey and Alexa. Born in Chicago, IL on July 28, 1959 to Delores and Luis who preceded him in death. Doug spend his life working hard as a member of the Chicago Carpenters Union and enjoyed spending his free time fishing, hunting and riding his Harley. He is remembered fondly for coaching both youth hockey and girls softball as his children grew up and instilling in them his love of music and guitar. Doug was known to be there in a pinch for his friends, quick to lend a listening ear and offer advice (except that pertaining to love) and happy to give a helping hand to those he loved.
