David H. Thomas, 73, of Chicago, passed away October 15, 2016.  Loving father of Lisa, Aimee, Joel, Adam and Erin; cherished grandfather of Kailey, Danny, Alyssa and Cody; married his high school sweetheart, Barbara, nee McElligott in 1966.  Visitation Saturday, October 22 ^nd , 10:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 11:15 a.m. at Kolbus-May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., to St. Eugene Church for Mass at 12:00 Noon.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to JourneyCare Hospice, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010.
