David Paul Filter died August 2, 2009 in Chicago. Born June 19, 1932, in Bloomfield, Nebraska, to August C.E. Filter and Esther Becker Filter. Survived by a sister, Charlotte Filter Nametz (the late Richard), of Frankfort, Michigan; a brother, Ernest C. Filter (Corinne), of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania; nephews and a niece. The family wishes to thank David's neighbors, Mary Ann and Dennis Jeskewitz, and friends from church, Henry and Judy Knueppel, for their kindness to David. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Ridgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in David's name to St. John's Lutheran Church (Mayfair), 4939 W.
