Darlene Nichols, beloved daughter of the late Bernard 'Bud' and the late Eleanor; cherished sister of Robert G. (the late Janet 'Jan') Nichols and the late William (Joanne Petock) Nichols; dearest aunt of Cathryn (Dwaine) Meninger, Robert L. Nichols (Joshua Denton), Thomas Nichols, Kristin Nichols and the late Patricia Hoover; great-aunt of Jordon and Isabella Meninger and Donavin and Destiny Nichols.  Darlene dedicated her life to caring for others as a compassionate nurse and found great joy in the love of animals. Her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Visitation, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Kolbus-May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago from 12 p.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park, Des Plaines, IL.
