Christopher Chaturanarong, 81, loving father of Somkanae and Somsakul Dangchuen; beloved brother of Nongnuch; beloved friend of Umpha Sikarinthra, Chantimar Sriaroon, Nopamas Pitskul, Michael Kuenstler and many others.

Christopher came to the US in 1967 and was able to follow his dream of being in the fashion industry and helping others. He was the alteration shop manager of Lord & Taylor and Neimann Marcus. Volunteering was his passion. Christopher was a pivotal part of the Thai Nurses Association, The Lions Club – Thai Mid-West Region and The Asian Advisory Counsel of Illinois. Just last year he was honored with an Excellence in Leadership Award from Jessie White's office.

Visitation, Friday, January 6, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Prayer service to begin at 12:30 p.m. at Kolbus – John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago with interment to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
