Carlettie "Kitty" Scharnow; nee Key, of Chicago and Elizabeth, IL passed away at Elizabeth Nursing Home on June 25, 2007. Kitty was born on March 23, 1922 in Crossland, Kentucky. She married William Scharnow on June 12, 1943. She lived her life with courage, dignity and faith. Surviving Kitty are her two daughters Fran Clanton and Kitty (Jim) Rhodes and two sons William and James. Loving grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 18. Fond aunt of many. Kitty is preceeded in death by her parents, two sisters, her special twin sister Annettie, her devoted husband Bill and twin sons. Funeral Service Friday 10:00 AM at Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave. Chicago, IL. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4 – 9 PM.
