Belia Rojas passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late Rafael Rojas. Loving mother of Jorge (Mary) Rojas, Paul (the late Ann) Rojas, Lydia (Jim) Wozny, and the late Ralph (Lala) Rojas.

Cherished grandmother of Angela (Michael) Mroz, Natalie (Kjetil) Samuelsen, Nick (Carrie) Rojas, James (Christa) Wozny, Kristopher (Ellen) Wozny, Nikole Rojas, and Milana (Patrick Ryan) Rojas.

Proud and loving great-grandmother of Gianna, Michael, Nori, Austin, Lucy, George, and Mavis.

Belia lived a long and meaningful life centered around those she loved most. Her family was a source of great pride and joy, and the generations that follow her are a lasting reflection of the life and family she and Rafael built together.

Belia will be remembered with love by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Rafael; her son, Ralph; and the loved ones who preceded her in death.

Lying in-State, Wednesday, September 2, 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., St. Monica Church, 5136 N. Nottingham Ave., Chicago, IL 60656. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
