Anna Maria (Coia) Klicki, nee Nottari, 88 years old, of Sycamore, Illinois, beloved mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother passed away peacefully at DeKalb County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center where she made her home in recent years.
Anna was born in Rome, Italy on July 14, 1929 and came to live in the United States in the early 1950's. She spent many years working as a garment worker performing finishing work for Brody Company, a major manufacturer of women's coats. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Anna will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Anna found a tremendous amount of joy watching her children and grandchildren grow.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Klicki; several brothers and sisters and one niece.
She is survived by her son ,Ronald (Kathy) Coia of North Riverside, IL; her daughter, Victoria (Tom) Guthrie of Sycamore, IL; her grandchildren, AJ (Hilary) Coia, Kyleen Coia, and Joe (Jessica) Coia, Simone Guthrie; as well as her great-grandchildren, Oliver Coia, Estelle Coia, and Gwyneth Coia
Memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.; Please join the family at St. Mary's Catholic Church 244 Waterman St. Sycamore, IL 60178 until 12 P.M. Funeral mass.
Our family would like to express our most sincere appreciation to the staff at DeKalb County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their loving and compassionate care provided to our Mother during her time there.
