Andrea Michel

Andrea Michel, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025 at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of the late Christian Michel II. Devoted mother of Christian Michel III and Gayle Michel. Cherished grandmother of Kyle Hamann. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She was the happiest in her garden, sewing quilts and purses and loved winning time after time playing German rummy.

Her sense of humor, her love and care for her grandson and her joy in helping others learn will never be forgotten.

She was blessed with wonderful, incredible caregivers and neighbors who cared for her until her final days. She will be deeply missed by all of us, especially Meka 🐾.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Andrea's life on Thursday, December 18, at Kolbus- John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Avenue, Chicago from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Noon. Interment Private. Tropical attire requested 🌺🌴
