presence, April 14, 2009. Age 85; beloved wife of Joseph; dearest daughter of the late Nelson Ira and
Ethel E. Barner; daughter-in-law of Vern and the late William Niemiec; fond sister of the late Ira Nelson
(the late Ruth) and the late Albert H.( Lois) Barner of Pekin, IL; sister-in-law of Laura (Jack) Gray and
Mickey (the late Fred) Wirsing; Loving aunt of six nephews and five nieces; great-aunt of 17 nephews
and 14 nieces; great-great-aunt of four nephews and three nieces. Dedicated employee of 15 years for
the Whirlpool Co. as a credit manager, retired in 1984. Served faithfully as financial secretary of
Montrose Baptist Church where she was a member. Lying in State, Saturday, April 18, 2009 12:00 noon
until time of Service 2:00 p.m. at Montrose Baptist Church, Pastor Jason Platt, officiating, 4411 N.
Melvina, Chicago, IL 60630. Interment Union Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to the church
